What this site is, and is not
The pages here describe services and set out general information about the Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] and SI 155 of 2024. That information is written carefully and kept current, but it is general: it does not take account of your own processing, your sector or your contracts, and it is not legal advice. Nothing on this site creates a client relationship. Decisions about your own compliance should be taken on the basis of advice given to you, in writing, on your own facts.
Licence tiers, fees, forms and deadlines are reproduced from the instruments in force at the date shown on each page. Where a figure matters to a decision you are about to take, check it against the current instrument or ask us.
The online assistant
The assistant answers questions about the framework using automated processing. Its answers are general information, they can be wrong or out of date, and they are not a substitute for advice from the officer holding your mandate. Do not enter personal data about identifiable people into it.
